Fu approvata da Innocenzo XI, il quale concesse la liberazione di quindici anime del Purgatorio ogni volta che si reciterà. Lo stesso fu confermata da Clemente III. La stessa liberazione ( di quindici anime del Purgatorio ) ogni volta che si reciterà questa orazione, fu confermata da Benedetto XIV con indulgenza plenaria. La stessa concessione fu confermata da Pio IX con l'aggiunta di altri 100 giorni d'indulgenza. Data nel dicembre 1847.
